Conflict is a difference of opinion, struggle against each other to achieve power, resources with multifaceted objective; sometimes natural or some times unnatural.
The happy family view
Conflict is not a systematic issue but is a major cause of:
• misunderstanding
• personality factors
• great expectation
• macro factors
• bad management
• poor leadership & poor communication
• bloody mindedness or aggressive behaviour
The Conflicting view:
• members compete for power
• individuals competing interests
The evolutionary view:
• conflict is positive for change
• Competing interests may balance the individuals’ interests and preserve social and organizational arrangement.
